I have Home Basic or Home Premium Edition of Windows Vista and cannot find the Security Tab. |

Microsoft offers different versions of Microsoft Vista depending on the level of expertise of the user and functions needed. In two editions of Windows Vista, Home Basic Edition and Home Premium Edition, Microsoft may have hidden advanced features of the operating system from access to avoid accidental changes. If you are unable to find the "Security" tab in the RagnarokOnline folder permissions, you may need to boot Windows Vista into SAFE MODE to reveal this feature.
===PROBLEMS===
When the user follows the instructions provided in the FAQ entry "Does Ragnarok Online work on Microsoft Windows Vista?", the user cannot find the "Security" tab, because it is hidden.
===SOLUTION===
These instructions are for the Home Premium Edition or Home Basic Edition of Microsoft Windows Vista. All users using other editions, please follow the instructions on this FAQ entry:Does Ragnarok Online work on Microsoft Windows Vista?
In order to run Ragnarok Online in Home Editions of Windows Vista, you may need to boot Windows Vista into SAFE MODE to obtain the "Security" tab for the RagnarokOnline folder properties necessary to make the needed adjustments. Please follow the below steps to attempt to resolve the issue:
- Restart the computer.
- Press the F8 key on the keyboard during computer start up until the "Advanced Boot Options" screen appears.
- Select "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with Networking" to boot into Windows in SAFE MODE.
- After Windows have loaded in SAFE MODE, please login.
- Go to My Computer.
- Double click on the C Drive. (or the drive in which Ragnarok Online is installed)
- Double click on the Program Files folder. (or the folder in which Ragnarok Online is installed)
- Double click on the Gravity folder.
- Right click on the RagnarokOnline folder. (or the folder that contains the Ragnarok Online files)
- Select "Properties".
- Select the "Security" tab.
- Click on "Edit...".
- When Windows Vista presents "Windows needs your permission to continue", provide your login if needed, and select Continue.
- Under "Group or user names:" select the "Users (|computer name|\Users)" group. Where |computer name| is the name of your computer.
- Under "Permissions for Users", select and check the "Modify" permission.
- Click OK and Windows will set the security permission on your Ragnarok Online folder.
- Click OK again at the RagnarokOnline Properties dialog box.
- Start the Ragnarok Online patch client and you should be able to patch and run Ragnarok Online
