Billy's Report
My name is Billy, and this is my report on what I want to be when I grow up. Today, I visited Kafra Headquarters and they gave me a tour because I want to be a Kafra Man and help people. They made me write my name in squiggly lines on some papers (it has a LOT of words on it, some I didn¡¯t learn yet), so I have to use fake names instead of real names, except for the Kafra Ladies because EVERYONE knows the Kafra Ladies!
I went early in the morning to Kafra Headquarters in Al De Baran where I live. I got to meet Leilah, and she gave me my own Kafra Band that says ¡°Billy¡± on it and said ¡°Hello Billy, are you ready for your tour?¡± and I said ¡°Do I?! Yes! Yes I am!¡±
First, we went to the biiiig safe where everybody¡¯s things magically go when they give them to the Kafra Ladies. I got to see the Hat room and try on some hats and pretend I was a Pirate, and I also got to see the rooms where they keep all the stinky stuff. When I asked Leilah why do so many people break off so many monster¡¯s hands and legs and keep them all, she smiled, patted me on the head, and gave me some Apple Juice!
Then, Leilah showed me some other people who work for Mr. Kafra. First, I saw a little man who makes lots and lots of Bunny Bands all day long. He looks very sad, and works all by himself and I saw him eat the shiniest candy I ever saw. He kept drinking a lot of water too. He looked very very sad, and when I said ¡°Hi, my name is Billy and I¡¯m 7 years old,¡± he said ¡°Go away kid, I¡¯ll eat you.¡± But then Leilah made a big pretend cough (like when I trick my mom to think I¡¯m sick), and then the bald little Bunny Man had a big smile and gave me chocolate! I guess he didn¡¯t want it anymore, because I can tell he didn¡¯t brush all of his teeth everyday like I do.
Then we met a scary looking man who wore a black robe, black pants, black shoes, black everything! He writes all these numbers and names in this book and Leilah told me he¡¯s the man that makes sure our Save Points always work. I asked him about how the heck people end up at a Save Point when they die, and he gave me some Candy!
So Leilah showed me the Kafra Teleporters, they look kind of weird, and we went to Prontera where she works sometimes. We spent most of the day seeing and helping all sorts of people. Even though we had to stand in the same place all day, I had a lot of fun helping Leilah put the things people gave her in the right boxes. I even helped Leilah with teleporting customers! I made a mistake though, and warped some people to that place where Orc monsters live. I was so scared Leilah was going to be mad at me, but she said it was okay because the brown clothes people were going to die doing something silly anyway. Then she said I was gonna be a good Kafra Man someday, and gave me some Cake!
It was almost night time, but Leilah told me that she had one more thing to do and asked me if I wanted to see Santa. And I said, ¡°Golly! Really?¡± So we went back to Al De Baran and talked to the man who finished Santa School, and he used magic to send us to Lutie where the real Santa lives. All the way when we were walking to Santa¡¯s house, Leilah looked kind of mad and when I asked what was wrong she said, ¡°Oh, don¡¯t worry, I just need to have a grown-up talk with Santa.¡±
I think Santa forgot to give Leilah presents on Christmas because she was banging on his door really loud. So Santa let us in and said ¡°Ho Ho Ho! I¡¯m Santa Claus and I give gifts to every good boy and girl on Christmas!¡± But then Leilah started talking the way my mom talks when I get in trouble, and she kept saying stuff about Santa¡¯s 400 bottles of Milk, and Cookies, in their Storage, and how long it¡¯s spoiling, and about sewing him a law suit.
Santa must have really wanted some new clothes because he wrote his name on a lot of papers that Leilah took out. I¡¯ve never thought Santa¡¯s eyes could look so big, and he was kind of quiet, but I get nervous when I have to write my name a lot of times too, in case I spell it wrong. I asked Leilah if Kafra could make me a law suit too, and she told me probably when I¡¯m older. I guess they¡¯re too expensive, so I can¡¯t have one right now.
Before we left Santa asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him that I wanted a baby brother! But all I got was some cookies. It was a tiring day, so Leilah said it was time for her to go home, and me too. I asked her where she lived, and she told me in Confidential. I don¡¯t know where that is, but it must be a great place! Then, she gave me a Butterfly Wing and I got to fly all the way home like a Butterfly and then write my report! |
