We would like to congratulate Denuo Convena and – XGMR – for a job well done at the Ragnarok World Championship held in Seoul, Korea. Both guilds fought hard and well against the other guilds from around the world! Denuo Convena took in 5th place, winning the prize of $1,500.00 USD!

The event took course over the days of July 17th and 18th. The event started with opening ceremonies, followed by guild introductions and match drawings. After the pairings were drawn, the guilds were all set for the preliminary round.

– XGMR – suffered a disappointing defeat in the first round but after their loss, the 2004 USRC Champions went out of their way to help out and give tips to the still undefeated Denuo Convena. In the 3rd round, Denuo Convena took a loss and placed 5th overall out of 18 teams in the tournament. They lost to the eventual champions, UNFORSEEABLE.

Rumors had it that the champions, UNFORSEEABLE, lived together for 2 months while training for this event, There was similar rumor about Taiwan's other guild, The Gates of Hell. With all that time together, working together and learning to rely entire on each other, it's no wonder that the these two teams would finish at the top.
