My boss told me to go to Payon last week.
While I was wandering around in the Payon Caves , I ran in to these human like monsters, dressed in blue, which hopped around. So while I was trying to get a better look at them, they start to attack me! But there were too many of them¡¦ I couldn't fight them all at once, so I used my last fly wing to get away from the mobs. But right before I ran away from them, I managed to pick up an unidentified hat from one of the monsters I did manage to defeat. So I took a magnifying glass and found out I actually picked up one of the hats worn by this monster! It looks so different from any other hats. So I put it on and it fits just perfectly! And it also gave me a boost to my defense!! Meow~! I love this hat!! If you ever go down to the Payon cave, you might find one too! |

This monster's name is Bongun. You can find them deep inside Payon cave. The Bongun is a very interesting and sad creature. Bonguns are created when a couple enters the Payon Caves to fulfill the Quest of Astrild in order to prove true love. When they fail the trial, the souls of the men who died during these trials are forever trapped within the caves and this is what they become. These souls become the Bongun that you see in the caves. Protecting the path to the fountain of Astrild, these sorrowful creatures represent how cruel love can be to all of us.

Hi~! This is Ms. Kolah! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation! Today, I'm going to tell you about a new friend that I met last week and her cute Bongun pet! |

He is very shy, so I couldn't really get to touch or pet him but I got to talk to the owner of this cute Bongun pet. The owner said that while she was hunting around in Payon cave, she found an old portrait of a girl. The girl on that old portray look very cute and sweet, so she start to wonder who lost this picture. As she was asking around town, she found out that this was a picture of a cute Munak girl, but she had passed away. She gave that picture to Munak's grandma, and she gave her a Diary of Munak. This diary means a lot to Bongun, so she took the diary and went down to Payon cave again to see if she can find the boy she wrote of in the diary. She showed this diary to Bongun and he cried. Seeing this poor Bongun crying so sadly, she felt really sad too. The girl then asked if the Bongun would like to be her companion and he agreed. Ever since that moment, she and Bongun became best friends, but he still tends to get shy in front of strangers. |

When Bongun needs a rest, he will turn in to a weightless egg which you can gently store in your inventory and carry the egg around.

This is his diary called ¡°Her Heart¡±. The content of the diary is filled with lots of sweet memories of Bongun and Munak. This is something that Bongun will always remember. You must have this item in-order to tame a Bongun pet.
