Is that that psychopathic mech anime where like the people are the mechs and its like attached to their brain or something?

and wait, we have friends at FUNimation?

Anyway, entering the contest for shiggles I guess. Don't really watch anime all that much, but a free movie is nice, and I like mech shows.

Yeah, the series was pretty messed up. I believe it got way more praise than it deserves.

wonder if its going to have any of the funny moments the TV series had? trailer certainly doesn't seem like it will. remember watching a bit of it when it was on Adult Swim years ago.

A question still remains... Is it limited to one winner / entry per household, or can we enter our 20 free accounts we have on Valk ? Cause this would be dumb.

That's why you always watch it in Japanese. I stopped watching English dubbed anime a long time ago. English voices just sound horrible most of the time for anime. They're too used to dubbing for crap like Spongebob or all the garbage shows on cartoon network now.

reminds me of the time I watched Fruits Baskets and I could only find a dubbed version of one of the episodes (kinda weird considering I was able to find the rest of the episodes subbed :/). I ended up skipping it after hearing the terrible dubbing that made my ears bleed D:

there are some exceptions to the rule, though. i'd put cowboy bebop's dub up against the sub any day of the week.

I haven't heard the original japanese of Cowboy Bebop, but I do agree that the dub was pretty good (Ghost in the Shell dub was pretty good too). I think I prefer the dubbed version of Fullmetal Alchemist as well (the subbed version sounds weird to me for some reason; maybe because I was so used to hearing the english voice actors).

i agree with Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the shell i could go either way on, Fullmetal Alchemist... i first watched it subbed, then saw it on Adult Swim and couldn't watch it was so bad, like watching dubbed Naruto....."BELIEVE IT!" /facepalm

while the sub might clearly be superior, would you truly say that the FMA dub is horrendous? look at my previous youtube link. lol

I haven't watched enough dubbed and subbed anime to really have an opinion of which I prefer. All I really care is that they don't unnecessarily change things when they do dub. I also don't like when they don't give the option of the original audio track.
