It has been 6 Years since iRO has officially opened its doors to the world. And what a great time we`ve had. New updates, new friends, new additions to the world have all added to the world that is Rune Midgard.
This year we want to celebrate parts of that journey, both to remind our citizens of where they have been, and to share those memories with those that weren`t there the first time around. From June 2nd - June 30, 2009 we will celebrate Ragnarok Online!
This years anniversary event will evolve a little bit each week, with a new stage and prizes being added. The pivotal focus is with D. Ver the investigator in Prontera, near the Upgrade shop, he is concerned about all the old areas spontaneously reverting to the way they were years ago. If you choose to help him, be sure to return every week to help him some more, and to experience those areas with your friends.
This questline can be completed with a party, due to the Quest mission setup, so get a big group and have fun!
Also the old Anniversary prizes, Baseball Cap, Bag on Head and Purple Cowboy hat all have +15% exp bonus applied to monster slaying, and the Pirate`s Dagger has a respectable 10% exp bonus! And don`t worry if you don`t have those items, you will get another chance to acquire them with this event! Plus something new and special awaits towards the end of the Anniversary celebration!
